How quickly is a data vacancy filled?
Reliable figures on how long data vacancies stay open on average do not exist, so you will not read them here. What is fixed: the route you choose determines the lead time. Through NewData, recruitment and selection takes six to eight weeks, depending on the notice period of the candidate. Secondment is faster: within three to four weeks someone is on board. And within two working days you receive a first response to your vacancy (lead times of August 2026).

Where does the time sit in recruitment?
The largest part is the notice period of the candidate: that is why the six to eight weeks explicitly say "depending on the notice period". That part of the wait cannot be organised away: the notice period sits with the candidate and their current employer.
