There are no cookies on this site. That is why you see no banner.

A consent banner is required as soon as a site stores or reads something on your device that is not strictly necessary. We do not do that, so the banner is not needed. That is a choice and not an oversight.

What we do not do

No analytics cookies, not even our own
No advertising or tracking cookies
No localStorage or sessionStorage, as long as you load nothing from outside
No fonts from Google Fonts: Inter ships inside the project
No social media buttons, chat widgets or embedded third-party video

The map comes from our own server too

There is a map on the contact page. It is an image served by us, not a live map from another party. No request goes to OpenStreetMap or Google, not even after you click it.

If you want directions, you pick an app yourself: Google Maps, Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap or 9292. Only at that moment do you leave this site, and that party's terms apply. That is no different from any other link.

Measured with the network tab open, across all 99 pages of this site: not a single request to another host. Not on load, and not afterwards.

If something external is ever added

Think of a YouTube film or a LinkedIn post. There will be no banner on arrival, but a panel in the place of that component itself, asking whether you want to load it and telling you who you would be dealing with.

If you say yes, we only remember it when you tick that box, and then for six months at most. You can withdraw that choice at any time.

That is then also the only thing this site puts on your device: a single key called nd-extern, holding which service you allowed and on what date. Nothing else. Withdraw the choice and that key is erased.

What about statistics

We would rather know which pages get read. The intention is to measure that without cookies and on our own server, without storing anything about you.

As long as that is not in place, we measure nothing. When it arrives, this page changes with it. The banner stays away, because that is precisely the point of cookieless measurement.

External media

If you say yes to a component from another party somewhere on the site, you can withdraw that here. We only store that choice if you tick the box, and then for six months; after that we ask again.

At the moment there is nothing external on this site. The map is an image from our own server and the films are hosted here. So this list will probably stay empty, which is exactly the intention.
