Data platform and pipelines

A data platform that delivers your figures reliably.

A data platform gathers the data from your systems in one place and keeps the supply running: the same pipelines every morning, the same checks and the same quality, without manual work.

You get connected sources instead of loose exports. Reports, dashboards and models all read from the same supply afterwards, and a new question no longer means starting over.

A one-off build runs through NewData Squad, on quotation. For further development and maintenance you hire a data engineer through NewData Student or recruit one permanently through NewData Search.

The problem

Do you recognise this?

The same files are merged by hand every month, and one changed column in a source system stops the dashboard for a day.

Every new question starts from zero again: export again, link again, check again.

The answer to a simple question depends on who happens to answer it, because everyone works on their own copy of the data.

Nobody can say exactly where a figure comes from, so nobody dares to build on it.

The solution

How do we solve this?

NewData first takes stock of the sources: which systems deliver the data, how often, and what has to be checked along the way. Then a data engineer builds the pipelines and the storage, with management and monitoring included, so the data is still there tomorrow.

Every step is recorded, with quality checks and documentation that make the platform transferable. Reports, dashboards and models all read from the same supply afterwards, and a new question no longer means starting over.

And the platform does not grow larger than needed. Sometimes the honest answer is that a few good data pipelines are enough and that no platform has to come; you get that advice too.

What NewData builds at your organisation stays yours. Scripts, definitions and documentation come along, and NewData builds nothing that keeps you dependent, not even on NewData itself.

From source to decision

Your sources

Dashboards, management reports and models that draw from the same source.

From our own work

Where did we do this before?

NewData builds its own business system on exactly this foundation: one platform in which the data from separate packages comes together and the supply keeps running on its own. How that works is described openly on the page about our own business system.

For Vervoerregio Amsterdam, NewData connected timetable, geo and public transport card data and made visible which stops were no longer served after 20:00.

The price

What does it cost?

If an experienced specialist sets up the platform as a one-off, you receive a quotation. If you hire a data engineer, the scale applies: from 70 euros per hour excluding VAT, going down to 60 euros for larger assignments (scale of August 2026). These are starting prices: your own remuneration scheme sets the wage, and the wage sets the rate. You choose the length of the assignment upfront and that sets the bracket. What it comes to at your organisation, we calculate for you before you sign anything.

Within two working days you receive a first response to your vacancy (lead time of August 2026).

The route

Which route fits?

One-off work runs through NewData Squad, on quotation (August 2026). Long-term work runs through NewData Student with the scale, or through NewData Search, from 650 euros per month excluding VAT (August 2026). NewData tells you up front which route fits your situation.

Read what each route means: NewData Squad for one-off work by experienced specialists, NewData Student for capacity and NewData Search for permanent recruitment.

This work is done by our data engineers. That page explains what the role does and when you deploy it.

Questions

Frequently asked question about this product

When does my organisation need a data platform?

As soon as reports lean on more than a few sources and combining them becomes manual work: the same exports, the same linking files and the same mistakes every month. A data platform automates that supply, with checks and documentation. Through NewData you have a platform set up as a one-off on quotation, or you hire a data engineer from 70 euros per hour excluding VAT, going down to 60 euros for larger assignments (scale of August 2026). These are starting prices: your own remuneration scheme sets the wage, and the wage sets the rate. You choose the length of the assignment upfront and that sets the bracket.
