Predictive models and forecasts
Predictive models that look ahead on your own data.
A predictive model uses your own history to look ahead: how much demand is coming, where dropout looms or which risk deserves attention, with an outcome a decision can rest on.
You get a forecast that is built to be explainable. It states which data the model rests on and how certain the outcome is, so you know what you are holding.
A one-off build runs through NewData Squad, on quotation. For further development in-house you hire a data scientist through NewData Student or recruit one permanently through NewData Search.
NewData
The problem
Do you recognise this?
Absence and turnover only become visible after the fact, and then every conversation is a conversation in hindsight.
An employee who leaves turns out to have been giving signals for months; only nobody saw them in time to still have the conversation.
Development plans exist, but nobody sees which employee could take which step now, so development remains something for the annual review.
Next season is planned on a hunch, while the history that carries the answer sits in the systems.
The solution
How do we solve this?
A predictive model by NewData looks ahead from the person, not from the cost side: how do you help people develop, and how does absence go down because attention comes earlier. Not to cut back on people, but to have the conversation before it is too late.
It starts with an honest test: does your history tell enough to look ahead on? If not, you hear that up front. If it does, a data scientist builds the model, tests it on your own figures and records how it works.
The outcome is not a black box: every prediction states which data it rests on, which assumptions apply and how certain the outcome is, so the conversation is about the person and not about the model.
What NewData builds at your organisation stays yours. Scripts, definitions and documentation come along, and NewData builds nothing that keeps you dependent, not even on NewData itself.

From our own work
Where did we do this before?
Luc Oudenes (founder DataStudent, co-founder NewData) helped build predictions within HR: how do you help people develop and how does absence go down. People-driven, from the question how someone becomes the best version of themselves, not from a client that wants to cut costs.
The price
What does it cost?
If an experienced specialist builds the model as a one-off, you receive a quotation. If you hire a data scientist, the scale applies: from 70 euros per hour excluding VAT, going down to 60 euros for larger assignments (scale of August 2026). These are starting prices: your own remuneration scheme sets the wage, and the wage sets the rate. You choose the length of the assignment upfront and that sets the bracket. What it comes to at your organisation, we calculate for you before you sign anything.
Within two working days you receive a first response to your vacancy (lead time of August 2026).
The route
Which route fits?
One-off work runs through NewData Squad, on quotation (August 2026). Long-term work runs through NewData Student with the scale, or through NewData Search, from 650 euros per month excluding VAT (August 2026). NewData tells you up front which route fits your situation.
Read what each route means: NewData Squad for one-off work by experienced specialists, NewData Student for capacity and NewData Search for permanent recruitment.

Questions
Frequently asked question about this product
Can I forecast next season’s demand with my own data?+
You can as soon as your history goes back far enough and the patterns in it are stable enough; that is exactly what a data scientist tests first, before anything is built. The outcome is a forecast with its certainty stated, not a promise. Through NewData you have such a model built as a one-off on quotation, or you hire a data scientist from 70 euros per hour excluding VAT, going down to 60 euros for larger assignments (scale of August 2026). These are starting prices: your own remuneration scheme sets the wage, and the wage sets the rate. You choose the length of the assignment upfront and that sets the bracket.
