Waarom zijn jullie als organisatie aan de slag gegaan met AI?
Ja, het idee is ontstaan na een netwerkbijeenkomst. Daar schetste een futurist wat AI voor ons vakgebied zou gaan betekenen.
En hij gaf aan van: ja, het is niet alleen zo dat het werk iets gaat veranderen. Maar het gaat zelfs op het niveau zijn dat rollen ook echt binnen jullie organisatie gaan veranderen.
Het is nu zo'n snel rijdende trein, die ontwikkelingen met AI. Als je er nu niet op instapt dan mis je het.
Dus van daaruit is ook het idee van Chef AI geboren, en ook de samenwerking met DataStudent.
Hoe kijken jullie binnen Pluut & Partners naar de inzet van AI?
Ja, daar hebben we de afgelopen tijd flink aan gewerkt, rondom een heldere visie op AI.
En aan de ene kant zien we veel kansen: om bijvoorbeeld informatie sneller te verwerken, om scherpere analyses te maken, en ook om repetitief werk slimmer en beter uit te voeren.
En aan de andere kant zien we ook wel dat ons werk wel echt mensenwerk is. Dus AI snapt geen persoonlijke context, kan soms ook verkeerde morele standpunten innemen. En het draagt ook geen verantwoordelijkheid over het project.
Dus daarin zeggen we wel van: wij als actieonderzoekers en organisatieadviseurs dragen altijd de verantwoordelijkheid over de keuzes die gemaakt worden binnen het project. En bij uitstek ook het eindresultaat.
Wat als je niets zou doen en dus niet mee zou gaan met de ontwikkelingen?
Ja, stilstand is eigenlijk geen optie. Want wat we zien bij organisaties die niet meegaan met de ontwikkelingen: daarin gaan medewerkers zelf aan de slag, op hun eigen houtje, met AI. En dat brengt risico's met zich mee. In de eerste plaats op het gebied van dataveiligheid.
En dat is ook wel de reden waarom we zoiets hebben van: we moeten hier als organisatie echt op inzetten. En daarin ook de samenwerking met DataStudent opzoeken.
En daarnaast zien we een kans voor AI als sparringpartner. Je kunt AI eigenlijk 24/7 gebruiken om je projectplannen mee te bespreken. En op die manier kun je aannames toetsen, en wordt het projectplan uiteindelijk beter. En het werkt ook voor jezelf verlichtend.

Who we are
New Data is a trade name of DataStudent B.V. in Rotterdam. We have worked with students, starters and experienced data professionals since 2018, by now with five hundred professionals in our network. From hospitals and municipalities to asset managers and software companies. We are not a traditional contracting agency: we build the network where people and organisations keep growing together.
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost to bring somebody in through New Data?
A student through New Data Student starts from 60 euro per hour, recruitment through New Data Search from 650 euro per month, and a team through New Data Squad goes on quotation. All rates are on the brand pages.
Why is the rate not one fixed amount?
Because the pay of the seconded professional follows your own remuneration scheme. Dutch law on labour intermediaries prescribes that (the inlenersbeloning, or hirer's pay principle). If you pay under a collective agreement that runs higher, the hourly rate is correspondingly higher. Our from-rate is the starting point; the final rate follows from your terms.
Can I employ a seconded professional later on?
Yes, and with DetaVast it costs you nothing extra: you agree a number of hours upfront, from 1,200, and then you take the professional on at no cost. 1,200 hours is roughly seven months full time. No transfer fee and no buy-out. Outside DetaVast we agree on it together; call or email us in that case.
How quickly can somebody start?
Within two working days you know whether we have somebody. Through New Data Student they usually join within three to four weeks; recruitment depends on the notice period and normally takes six to eight weeks.
What if it does not click?
Then you say so and we keep looking. With contracting there is no minimum number of hours and no notice period of months. Scripts and documentation stay with you.
Do you also work outside Rotterdam?
Yes. Our office is in the Groot Handelsgebouw next to Rotterdam Centraal, but our people work throughout the Netherlands and part of the work happens remotely. Where somebody sits is decided per assignment.
