Do you work outside the European Union and want to work in the Netherlands as a data specialist? Through NewData that is possible as a highly skilled migrant. This page says what you must earn at minimum and under which conditions you work. Start with registering as a professional.
The salary thresholds come from the IND. The contract duration is six or twelve months, always full-time; that last part is a condition attached to the permit.

What must you earn at minimum?
The thresholds are gross per month and exclude 8% holiday allowance, looked up at the IND on 11 August 2026.

The conditions
Under which conditions do you work?
The contract duration is six or twelve months, depending on the form (conditions of August 2026).
You always work full-time, 40 hours per week. Full-time is not a NewData choice but a condition attached to the permit.
If you fall ill, your wage is simply paid through, and you accrue holiday allowance and holiday days. That is regulated by law and it sits inside the hourly rate the client pays.

How does your pay come about?
Your pay follows the client’s remuneration scheme: the scheme that also applies to comparable positions there, and that meets the IND threshold at minimum.
What the client pays per hour is not what you earn, and that is not a trick. On top of your bare gross hourly wage, almost the same amount is added before we have earned anything.
