Who employs you, and what do you earn?
When you work through NewData on an assignment, Servorg Uitzendbureau B.V. is the executing party behind your contract (Chamber of Commerce 27144722, as of 12 August 2026). Servorg is a member of the NBBU and SNA-registered, which means a periodic NEN 4400-1 audit takes place, among other things on the remittance of payroll taxes. All registrations are on the procurement page with all registrations.
Your pay follows the client’s remuneration scheme: the scheme that also applies to comparable positions there. The rate the client pays NewData is separate from that and is published openly on the site.
When an assignment ends, NewData looks with you at the next one. Your data is only kept for that if you give consent yourself, until 24 months after the mediation ends.

Gross per hour, including holiday allowance and the reservation for holiday days (rates of August 2026). What the client pays per hour is not what you earn, and that is not a trick: on top of your bare gross hourly wage, almost the same amount is added before we have earned anything.

You start at a client, with a fixed point of contact at NewData behind you. If something gets stuck, you call us, not the client.
You always hear upfront what you get on a specific assignment. Never afterwards, and never different from what was agreed.
In depth
How do you go from temporary to permanent?
Many professionals start with a temporary assignment and grow into a permanent contract. With DetaVast that is the agreement from day one: after the agreed number of hours, the client takes you over cost-free, with no takeover fee (rule of August 2026). Read how DetaVast works.

As a student you earn € 22.12 gross per hour in the first year and as a starter € 23.39; a student moves to the starter level of € 23.39 from the second year (rates of August 2026). The amounts include holiday allowance and the reservation for holiday days. For medior and senior the wage is agreed individually, depending on experience, role and assignment.

By starting with assignments that match your level. NewData Student places students, starters and young data talent with organisations, alongside your studies or as a first step after graduating. You do paid work, build a portfolio and grow towards heavier assignments or a permanent job.
Can a temporary assignment become a permanent job?+
Yes. With DetaVast, the client takes you over cost-free after an agreed number of hours worked; the shortest track is 1,200 hours, roughly seven months full-time (tracks of August 2026). That is how it went for the data student at Robeco, who joined Robeco directly after graduating.
What kind of data work can I do as a student or starter?+
NewData fills six roles: data analyst, data engineer, data scientist, BI specialist, AI specialist and developer (August 2026). Which role fits you depends on your studies and on what you enjoy: analysing, building or advising. The roles page describes the work per role.
